Some experts suggested that emotional intelligence is one of the noteworthy parts in case of social skills at the workplace. People cannot build a good relationship at a workplace if they do not have good social skills. Therefore, I personally believe that social skills are crucial in getting good networks and work results at workplace. First of all, social skills of employees are one of the deliberations in hiring new workers to assure that they can deal with everyone at the workplace. It can be seen that most great companies usually have a good relationship between one employee and others. The white-collar worker and blue-collar worker have a good synergy and communicate friendly. Because they believe that a good network will define the work atmosphere. As a result, if everyone respects each other, the worker might do their jobs comfortably. Therefore, social skills are becoming an essential in the workplace. In terms of work outputs, there is no doubt that social skill, such as responsible, respect, discipline, and the like, will bring the company experiencing an increased result because of everyone work maximally and do their best. Why this response received Band 5.5
The response maintains a clear view that social skills matter and organises its support around workplace relationships and productivity. Its main limitation is that these ideas remain general and are sometimes expressed through unclear claims and awkward phrasing, so the argument lacks persuasive depth. The highest priority is to develop each reason with a specific, logically explained workplace example while improving sentence-level accuracy.
IELTS Writing Criteria Scores
Task Response
A clear position is sustained and two relevant reasons are presented, but their support is general and sometimes unconvincing.
Explain one concrete workplace example for each main reason and show precisely how social skills improve the outcome.
Coherence and Cohesion
The response has a recognisable progression from relationships to work results, although paragraphing is weak and linking is repetitive or occasionally faulty.
Separate the introduction, main ideas, and conclusion into clear paragraphs and use fewer, more accurate cohesive devices.
Lexical Resource
There is some topic-specific range, but frequent collocation and word-form errors reduce precision and naturalness.
Replace awkward combinations such as descriptions of responsibility and productivity with accurately learned workplace collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy
A mixture of sentence forms is attempted, but frequent agreement, article, word-form, and clause-structure errors limit control.
Prioritise complete sentence boundaries and check subject-verb agreement and noun forms in every sentence.
