Overall assessment

Why this response received Band 8.0

The response gives a clear, accurate overview and selects the main figures from both visuals, with effective comparisons and generally precise language. Its main limitation is a small amount of awkward or imprecise wording, especially in references to national groups, plus a subject–verb agreement slip in the final sentence. Prioritise more natural descriptions of people born in each country and proofread agreement in inverted sentence structures.
