The diagrams showcase two types of water filtration systems. As shown, the outdoor filling and storage system requires more steps in order to purify water when compared to the cross-section filter.the cross section filter.
The cross section filter contains three distinct filtering layersthree different compartments enclosed within a 200-litre metal container200L Metal container. Untreated water is passed through the inlet, where the first filter made of sand removes any large impurities. Then, water is further treated by tiny stones, which eliminateeliminates finer unwanted particles. Lastly, the filtered water passes through the pipe holes and exits via the outletflows through the pipe holes and out to the outlet on the other side, ready to leave the systemready for consumption.
On the other hand, the second water filter comprises four main stagescontains four separate sections. Untreated water is first placed within a tank that can be funneled out via a tube, with a tap controlling the water flow. In the second compartment is sand where, like the previous filter, large impurities are removed. Following this, treated water is passed into a tank for storage; when the water is needed for household use, another tap can be used to direct water into a separate vessel.
Why this response received Band 8.0
The response gives a clear, logically sequenced description of both filtration arrangements and establishes their main structural difference at the outset. The chief limitation is that it occasionally presents inferred functions as visible facts and includes a few local agreement or reference problems; the priority is to describe only what the diagram supports directly and then proofread each stage for precise grammatical relationships.

Both systems are covered in an appropriate sequence with a useful comparison, and nearly all visible components and connections are accurately described.
Avoid unsupported claims about the exact particle sizes removed or the water being ready for consumption unless the diagram states them.
Coherence and Cohesion
The overview and two system-specific paragraphs create a clear progression, while sequencing devices guide the reader smoothly through each process.
Keep the same paragraph plan while making each reference to the previous filter or compartment completely unambiguous.
Lexical Resource
A flexible range of process vocabulary describes containers, filters, pipes, storage, and water flow with generally strong precision.
Prefer neutral diagram-based wording over interpretive terms such as purify, large impurities, and ready for consumption when functions are not labelled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy
Varied complex structures are mostly well controlled, with occasional agreement and reference slips such as tiny stones which eliminates.
Check subject-verb agreement and pronoun reference carefully, especially in clauses describing what flows through a tube or performs a filtering action.
