So far, I have only contacted a couple of agencies to get an idea of how much it’ll cost me and planorganize my budget accordingly. Given the situation, and knowing how well informed you are on the matter of good locations, I would be most grateful if you could please give me one or two options of places to go for this event.

Overall assessment

Why this response received Band 7.5

The letter is particularly effective in its clear progression and well-developed explanation of the employee trip, its purpose, and the preparations already made. The main limitation is an unevenly informal register, with some businesslike phrasing addressed to a friend; prioritise making the request warmer and more conversational while specifying exactly what information about possible locations would be most helpful.
