I believe there are multiple reasons for this alarming trend and we need to take measures to tackle this problem.

Under such influence, purchasing new products has become the norm. Consumers like to seek out the latest models but soon discover they have too many possessionstoo much acquisition. To save room, simply throwing away the old items seems to be the most convenient solutioneasiest fix. After all, reselling, donating, or looking for a collection place can be quite burdensomequite a hassle. Therefore, men and women alike develop this habit of discarding used items without any attempt to recycle or reuse them.
Another reason is the high repair cost. In some cases, the cost of repairs exceeds the price of a replacement, making it more economical to buy a new product. For example, an old computer with a broken screen may require the owner to obtain a replacement ofwith exactly the same brand or type. TakingTaken into account the labor cost-since ordinary people are usually not tech-savvy and may hire a professionalcall for a professional to deal with the task-the cost can add up. Consequently, discardingdisregarding the old and purchasing a new one might be more cost-effective.
To better address the issue, governments have an immensely important role to play. First, they can provide guidance on what items can be easily recycled and information on the most convenient recycling spots. Setting up platforms or facilities to make recycling and reuse more accessible is essential. Moreover, authoritiesthe governing bodies can also endeavor to make the act of recycling more appealing. For instance, by subsidizing manufacturers that offer reasonable repair services to customers.
