NowadaysIn nowadays, some people argue that environmental problems are too large for individual countries or individual people to deal with, and the only way we can protect the environment is at an international level. While I agree that we can protect the environmentprotect environment at a global level, I do not think it is not helpful at individual level completely.
First, a country'scountry law still plays ana important role in protecting environment. If a country can enactpublish a law that companies must give theirthier employees a 'nature day' every month, people can be more connected with nature and can become aware ofcan aware the significance of environmental protectionprotecting. For instance, last year, the Indonesian governmentlast year, Indonesian government published this kind of law and we can see thier local people are more careful about their surroundingssurrondings. Also, other lawslaw such as forbidding the pollutant releasing including carbon dioxide and other toxic gasesgas is crucial too. Although many countries in the world had published this law, not every companycompanies obeysobay it. So government should strengthen the punishment. For example, Chinese government has done this recently.
Second, the efforts of individual people aresingle people is also necessary. In fact, environmental protection begins with every little thing in people's daily liveslife. For example, not only can people use shopping bags made of recyclablebased recyclable materials instead of plastic, but also can people take electric buseselectrical bus rather than common cars to go to companies or schools. In the UK,In UK, almost all buses in London are electrical and people living there are encouraged to use things made fromby sustainable materials.
In conclusion, while protecting environment at international level is very important, we should not ignore the impacts on individual level.
