OpinionsOponions differ over whether protectingprotecing those animals that are beneficial to humans or all animals should be preserved. While the former can avoid the extinction of a certain creature in a short time, I favour the latter because its long-termtrem benefits to the biodiversity and preservationpreservetion of the most species in our planet.

Those who support only protecting useful animals often point out that our budgets are limitedpoint to our budgets are limited, and we should concentrate our funds on protectingconcentrate our money to protect creatures that directly benefit us in fields of scientific research, health care and industrial productionproducation. However, protection provided to those which do not benefit us directly will reduce budgets to these creatures. In contexts where the certain creatures are extremely endangered and its connectionendangered and the its connection with other animals is weak, this approach can use limited budgets to ensure its safety. For example, pandas used to be a seriously endangered animal, but after gaining the most concentration from Chinese people and protection of governments, its population increased quickly to over thousands.

Nevertheless, the case for protectingprotect all animals is stronger. Every creature is an important part of our biological system. They have their own missions in maintainingmaintainning the stability of environmental balance. Any creatures which seem to be useless may have positive or negativenagetive influence to other animals. They protect the biological balance togethertogerther. Any creature which seems to be useless becoming extinct can causeuseless extincts can cause serious harm to a certain area. For example, AustraliaAustrilia used to hunt wolves to protect rabbits, leading to a dramatic increase in the number of local rabbits.robbits, it leads to dramatic increase of the number of local robbits. As a resultresults, rabbits eat a large variety ofrobbits eat a large kinds of plants which are important food resource for other creatures, making these plants and animals extinctexticnt. Therefore, the long-term benefit of protecting all animals to maintainmaintian the biological system outweighs the short-term protection for only useful animals. Inconclusion, both positions offer clear benefits; on balance, however, protecting all animals is preferable because it maintains a sustainable biological system and sources.
