Sample Response
Some argue that in the digital age, theatres and cinemas are no longer important as people can watch all the entertainment they want online. Others argue that theatres and cinemas are still important both economically and culturally. For me, I agree with the second opinion.
First, theatres and cinemas can promote the economic developmentdevelopment of economy. Although there are many entertainment resources online and people can easily find something they want to watch, it is necessary to keep traditional theatres and cinemas. Because the atmosphere provided by a phone or TV is no match for whatatmosphere given by phone or TV are no match that theatres and cinemas can give you. The large screen in the cinema really fires people up, especially when people watch science fiction filmsscientific films. So people still prefer going to the cinema rather than watching TVchoosing cinema rather than TV. And it can boostrefresh the economy. For instance, in China, people usually go to cinemas to watch movies with family during public holidays like the Spring Festivalspring festival. And the market economy surges atin this time.
Second, theatres and cinemas can introduce our traditional culture and strengthen our cultural confidence. If theatres and cinemas disappear in this world, there is no real mediumthere is on real media to introduce our culture. Only entertainment videos can not do it well. Because on the Internet, most content creators only careon Internet, most bloggers are only care about how to earn more money. Even though there are people who really want to introduce traditional culture to other people, their impact is limitedthe power is too small. So cinema is very important. For example, in 2025 the Chinese New YearChinese new year, a very famous film called 'NeZha 2' was released in Chinese cinemasreleased in China's cinemas. It is based onby conventional Chinese myth and includes lots of Chinese elements. It was really popular in China, and then, it was releasedit released in Western countries' cinemas. After watching this movie, many people said they fellfall in love with Chinese culture.
In conclusion, even though the Internet now is well-developed, theatres and cinemas are still significant for human societyhumans' social, both economyeconoy and culture.
