Sample Response

It is true that ln the older days, A large number of students in a classroom were studied with the traditional method of teaching. However, there is no denying the fact that the phenomenon of new technology which is used to teach students is ubiquitous across the globe due to its paramount importance. However, this has a plethora of merits yet numerous demerits also there, which will be elaborated in upcoming paragraphs.

Initiating with the best possible benefits, the most significant advantage is the saving of time of travelling outside for their study. To elaborate it, sometimes, students are cover very long distances to reach their school, and they are wasted a lot of time travelling. To cite an example, If school is situated at 30 kilometres far away from their homes then at least 40 minutes are wasting in travelling in one side and about one hour 20 minutes are wasting of one day for both sides. Hence, Due to new technology, students at able to study at home with saving time of travelling. Secondly, children can give financial support to their family because If they attend online classes from YouTube and from other apps which were free of cost, then they save a large amount of money that is given in schools. As a result, parents who suffer from poor conditions are easily fulfilled their daily needs with that amount.

On the paradoxical side, there are many drawbacks as well. The first and foremost disadvantage is the lack of communication which children face more at home. To explicate it, when they study at home with the help of new technologies then they do have not an opportunity to communicate with different people. For instance, one time it comes in their life when they ought to go outside from their homes. At that time, they feel hesitation when they come in front of other people. Secondly, children can face stress or depression because there is no anybody present without guardians who can play with them. Playing is also important for students life. In schools, one lecture is related to games which are known as a physical lectures. In which, students feel relaxed from their study. Hence, stress or depression can become a series of an issue for children with the use of new technologies for study.

To conclude, without any doubt, this is a mixed bag. If this topic has many positives, then the negative points of this notion may not be underestimated.

Overall assessment

Why this response received Band 5.5

The response’s clearest strength is its balanced coverage of several advantages and disadvantages, with separate body paragraphs and supporting explanations. Its main limitation is that frequent grammatical errors and awkward word combinations repeatedly weaken precision, while some claims about technology are narrowly framed as home-based learning. The highest priority is to build accurate, controlled sentences around fewer, more directly relevant ideas.
