Dear Sir or Madam,
Lately i’ve been encountering some major problems regarding my neighbour, who also rents his flat from you. The issue started since last week and involves on him making really loud noises late at night while he is probably playing videogames.
The noise produced by him is hugely impacting on my sleep schedule and quality, with me having problems on falling asleep and also having multiple interruptions throughout the night, which is impacting my overall mood and disposition during the day. I reached the point in which i had to visit a doctor in order to check my headaches that is giving me through the day, caused mainly by my low quality sleep.
I would like to kndly request you to please message or phone the renter explaining how his behaviour is disturbing all other of his neighbours and also soliticiting him how we can come to a solution to this problem.

This letter is a good response which covers each area of the task. It includes: when the problem began [last week], how the noise has affected them [impacting on my sleep], actions requested from the agency [message or phone the renter]. All bullet points are covered and the purpose is clearly presented. The tone is consistently polite. However, the format of the letter is incomplete as there is no ‘closing’ (e.g. Yours Faithfully, Best wishes), this does impact the score for Task Achievement.
There is clear overall progression, although at times, the sentences are not as fluently linked as they might be.
There is a good range of vocabulary that is more than adequate. Although there are errors, there are also many examples of accurate choice and appropriate modification [multiple interruptions | low quality sleep]. A mix of simple and complex structures is used, but mistakes with prepositions and slips with verb forms, limit the rating for this criterion.
This response shows some features of higher-level performance, but weaknesses in format and grammatical control limit the overall rating to Band 6.
