CountriesCountry 1 and 2 both experienced a rise from 2005 to 2009 before sliding in 2015, with their figures remaining belowwith the figure keeping below 400 and 600 respectively. In contrast, the number of cars per 1000 people in country 5 first fell from about 900 to slightly above 800 in 2009, before rising again to almost 1000 in 2015; the European average showed the same trend, seeing a slight decrease in 2009 from nearly 700 in 2005 and then growing to almost 800 in 2015. Meanwhile, steadier changes rather than fluctuations can be seen in countriescountry 3 and 4. Having around 700 cars per 1000 people in 2005, the ownership in country 3 dropped to 600 in 2009, and then moderately continued this downward trend to below 600 in 2015. However, the figure for country 4 did not changedidn't change at all, staying at about 700 in all given years.
