Sample Response
Some people believe that increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. I disagree, because city planning and using environmental-friendly energies are better ways; at the same time, the highways, at the same time, high price of petrol will lead to other issues.
Two reasons support that high price of petrol causes issues. Firstly, although increasing the price of petrol can make people think twice before buying petrolbuying the petrol for their cars, it will not decrease the usage of cars. Instead, this action is just like to put off time the problem happens but not solve it. Secondly, high price will make it unaffordable for people to buymake people unaffordable to buy petrol when increasingincreaing the price to an unaffordableunreachable level, which will make it difficultresult in this phenomenon that it is hard for the sellersaler to sell petrol, and hard for people to buy petrol. This will make the economy worse. So it may not solve the problems, but leadleads to other issues.
Therefore, there are two effective measures to solve these issues. The first measure is better city planning, which means that we need to redesign the streets and roads to eliminate unnecessary roadscut down the useless roads and make driving more efficientmake it is more effective to drive. Once the roads are short and effective enough, the problem of traffic and pollution will be solved. AnotherAnothor measure is to use environmental-friendly energies ,like electricity or hydrogen. These energies will not produce harmful emissionsgas into the air, which is conducive to solvingpositive to the solution of pollution problems.
In conclusion, increasing the price of petrol has little effectefforts to solve the growing traffic and pollution problems. Through better city planning and the usage of environmentally friendlyenvironmental-frendly energy can we solve these problems.
