The job interview method is only good for selecting candidates whosecandidates, whose job involves business interactionsjob is to business interactions with clients and customers. For instance, people in marketing jobs, HR jobs, and consultingconsultant jobs need good customer service skills that can be best judged in interviews.
The biggest downside of interviewsdownside of the interview is that the candidates are already prepared and giving rehearsed answersanswering prepared questions will makes it difficultmake it hard to check the applicants’ suitabilityapplicant’s worthiness. In addition, it is hard to determine whether candidates are being genuinebelieve that candidates are not faking and showing their genuine work ethic and dedicationtrue intentions towards work ethics and dedication. Another drawback is that a degree alone cannot revealis simply on the basis of the degree one can’t judge the ability to perform in the workplace. To conclude, in my opinion, the interview is not the best method for choosing a candidate’s worthiness. Employers should combinecombine and assemble two different recruitment methods to choose suitable candidates for the specific roleas per the job profile.
Why this response received Band 6.0
The response maintains a clear view that interviews should be combined with job-specific assessment, and its practical-test example gives the central argument useful relevance. However, development is uneven and frequent sentence fragments, agreement errors, and awkward collocations weaken clarity. The highest priority is to express each supporting point in a complete, accurately structured sentence and explain more precisely how the proposed selection methods should work together.
