Overall, the southern part of the road access was substantially changedhad been substantially changed, with roundabouts and facilities added. Moreover, a new car park was added to the eastern sidehad been added on the eastern side of the hospital to separate the use of parking areas.
Looking first at the original layout of the road access, on the northern side was the Ring Roadon the northern side is the Ring road surrounding the hospital, with its southern edge connected to City Road by a north-south road called Hospital Road. Six bus stops were located alongsymmetrically sat along both sides of Hospital Road, the eastern side of which a car park for both hospital staff and the publicboth staff of the hospital and public was located.
After the reconstruction by 2010, both ends of Hospital Road were replacedoccupied by a roundabout. The original bus stops were removed, and a bigger bus station was constructed on the west of Hospital Road, connecting to both roundabouts. The car park on the eastern side of Hospital Road served only as a staff car parkserved only staff, while a new one for the public was built on the eastern side of the hospital.
