In 2002, 32.14% of total national spending in Turkey was on food/drinks/tobacco, closely followed by the figure for Ireland, at 28.91%at nearly 29%. The highest proportion inThe largest figure of leisureleicure/education was also observed in Turkey, at 4.35%, while Italy spent the largest proportion of expenditure onpercentage of budget on clothing/footwear at 9.00%at 9%, higher than the other four nations.
