It is clear that breakfast and snacks account for the smallest shares of sodium, while breakfast also represents the lowest proportion for the other two nutrients.breakfast occupies the smallest shares of all three nutrients consumed. While the largest part of consumption of sodium and saturated fat goes to dinner, snacks contribute most to added sugar intake. In terms of sodium, dinner accounts for the largest share (43%)takes up the largest proportion of sodium consumption (43%), followed by lunch with a figure of 29%, while breakfast and snacks only account for 14% each. The same pattern can be found in the chart for saturated fat, where dinner again tops the list at 37%.where dinner tops the list again with a 37% proportion. Lunch and snacks follow at 26% and 21% respectively, and breakfast remains the lowest, at 16%. Added sugar shows a different distribution. Snacks make up 42% of added sugar consumption, which is almost twice the figure for dinner (23%).
