There is no denying that economic growth is conducive to endingend poverty and hunger. To begin with, enterprises can benefit from economic growth since they can earn more profits through selling more products or services. To increase their profitability, they are more likely to expand their production scaleit is more likely to expand their production scales to produce more goods, which requires a large number of employees, creating job opportunities forto people from different fields. If people can find a suitable job, they gain stable disposable income, enabling them to purchase daily necessities, including food. Furthermore, the government collects more tax revenue from the consumptionthrough tax policies, the government has more tax revenue through the consumption of consumers and corporations. Therefore, the government can invest more funds in the research and development of advanced agricultural technology to boost the output of crops. For instance, hiring professionals and purchasing cutting-edge technology to develop genetically modified cropsgenetic modification crops which have higher yieldsproduction and need little farmland. An increased supply of crops can lower their pricesIncreased supply of crops can lower the prices of them, which can alleviate the financial pressure of people from low-income families.
However, economic growth may cause serious environmental pollution from factories. Factories produce waste gas and wastewater in production. Some waste is discharged directly into rivers without treatment, polluting limited water resources and endangering fish and other aquatic life. Waste gas released into the air also harms human health and causes respiratory diseases.
In addition,Besides, traditional petrol cars burn fossil fuels and release large amounts of carbon dioxide. This strengthens the greenhouse effect and raises global temperatures. More frequent extreme weather will threaten the survival of humans and animals.
From my perspective, although economic development helps reduce poverty and hunger, it must not come at the expense of the environment. Societies should encourage green industries and low-carbon transport. In this way, we can enjoy stable economic progress while protecting ecosystems for future generations.

However, the essay lacks an introductory paragraph, which slightly affects the structural framing and cohesive flow. Including a proper introductory hook and thesis statement will significantly enhance the overall organisation.
