To begin with, the mindset of the parents and grandparentsparents/ grandparents is veryway limited and traditionalbecause they do not, and as they do not experience the wider worldexperience the world from outside and live on their own terms. In most cases, they expect their children or grandchildren to follow their established rules and expectationsset terms and policies to succeed in life. On the other hand, the attitudes of young people change quicklyattitudes of youth are fast and are innovativeas well as innovative, and they would love to explore life differently and achieve successheights in this busy so-called rat racebusy world so-called rate-race. They cannot understand a few old-school principles set by their parents and try to solve problems independently.
The significant differences in these attitudeschanges in these behaviors not only affect their lifestylesthe lifestyle but also family relationshipstheir relationship in families. These differences lead to separation from each other, sometimes treating the older people adversely and create several arguments between parents and children. For example, the parents of one of my relativesone of my relative’s parents livestays separately in the old-age home as they accept the fact that they cannot cope up with their children’s mentalities and frequent disagreements lead to serious health problems such as high blood pressure and panic attacks.
To conclude, often attitudes are different between both youth and older people; one should try to adjust by respecting each other’s decisions and lead happy lives or be ready to face the problems.
