After the completion of landfill construction, household waste is transported by rubbish trucks before being deposited into the modern landfill. Turning to the final stage, the landfill is sealedblanketed with a clay cover, with a pipe to provide a channel for gasesgas to escape. More specifically, the first two layers of clay and synthetic lining serve as barriers to prevent waste liquid from leaking into the surrounding rockto filter clean water.
