Some people believe that we should not try to prevent the process of animal species becoming extinct fromprocess, for animal species to become extinct, from happening. I largely agree with this view because it is the rule of nature itself. On the other hand, we still need to protect some endangered animal species to some extent.
The process for animal species to become extinct is the rule of nature itself. In other words, some animal species would become extinct, due to the changes of environment that they can not adaptadopt to. For example, many years ago when there were still some dinosaursdinosours, they could survive atin that time, because they had enough food and suitable habitat for them to live infor their to live. But nowadays, they do not have the same situation as before, so they becamebecome extinct. The process for animal species to become extinct is natural, people should not and will not preventwill not to prevent this from happening.
However, not preventing their extinctions from happeninghappenning doesdose not mean that we should not protect them. It means that we need to protect the endangered animals to avoid their fast extinctionextincion. For example, the number of pandas used to be at approximatelyappximately zero many years ago, but with the help of people, the number of them rebounded significantlyrose to a great number again. However, this does not meanAnd this dose not mean that people prevent their extinction. Instead, we just protect themwe just to protect them to slow down the pace of their extinction. This improves the diversity of species, which is beneficial for both people and nature itself. But the final extinction of these animal species will become in the futurefurture, which people will avoid.
In conclusion, I largely agree with the view that there is no reason why people should try to prevent the extinction of animal species from happening. Because we can not change the rule of nature itself, and we will not change the result of their extinctions, while we should protect the animal species to delay the processput off the date of their extinction as best as we can.
