The strife to live and survive the relentless pacesharp-edged pace of the world has become remarkably herculean today. Right from the ground to the sky, almost everyone is seen toiling hard and working their fingers to the bone to performmanoeuvre better than others. Hence the choices one makes in one’s career happen to sculpt the future concerning the decisions one makes during their lifetime and switching and adapting is a cardinal part of it. Gone are the days when one had to remain tied tostay clung to the domain one had chosen for oneself at the beginning of their career. Today is the era of dynamism. Thanks to the advances in digital technologypangs of digital contrivances, one can hone their skills and become the best of multiple domains, which zero in on one’s discretion and likelihood to the job they do or choose to switch on to.
Time and again, it has been observed thatit has been how the effectiveness of an individual has declinedefficacy of an individual has been rendered lackadaisical owing to one’s lost spark for a particular job one is employed for and thereby diminishing the productivity of the organization they are a part of. The cases of people following their passion and making a career switch have attracted attentionhave not skipped the seams of attention. It keeps one going on the path of accomplishment and helps one align with personal interestsinstills one with a sense of aligning with their penchant. In such a case it would not at all be factual and pragmatic to believe that one who remains committedgummed to one’s initially chosen career path would be better than those who change it. There have been countless incidents where one has chosen an entirely distinct stream of a career with regardregards to what one was recruited for at the start of one’s careerduring the dawn of one’s career, and not only has it made such people financially securematerialistically sufficed but also mentally fulfilledstabilized.
Though some might say one has a better chance of promotion when one sticks to one’s career stream, that’s not always true, and that too atwith the expense of going against one’s mental inertia.
Conclusively, we may therefore say that change is the need of the hour today, and people who manage to adapt to the dynamic waves of the world are the ones who would emerge triumphant in their respective careers. A right switch at the right time is all that makes a difference.
