Today, learning foreign languages is a highlygreat beneficial skill because we live in a interconnectedcommunicated era and knowing different languages makes communication easier, therefore I personally agree that a foreign language should be taughtforeign language should be taught to children as early as possible.

Firstly, the human brain's abilityhuman brain ability will decrease as people grow olderwhen they grow up. Several recent studies indicateSeveral recent research indicates that children can memorise and understand new languages automatically after they are born until the age of fouruntil 4 years, and afterwards, this ability will decrease. So adults need more effortefforts to learn such things. As a result, it is better that they are taughtsomebody trains them as soon as they start school.

Furthermore, atin this age children do not have any involvement in important tasks or problems, because they do not have any responsibility to worry about and can concentrate on their studiesstudy, they can learn new things quickly and more efficiently. On the contrary, adults are concerned aboutadults concern about jobs, earnings, the futurejobs, earning, future, personal and social life and many other things. Also, they can learn another language more easily in their childhood than during adolescencein adolescence period.

4

Finally, some people disagree with this matter and claim that the other subjects are more important than learning foreign languages and it is better that teachers allocateallocated the time of this subject to another field such as mathematics and science, however, researchers believe that learning a foreign language helpshelp to improve other skills, since it is very challenging and enhance the brain’s abilities.

5

In conclusion, I personally think, children should learn another language as soon as possible because their brains are more ready to understand new information and also they have less distraction when they study.

Overall assessment

Why this response received Band 6.0

The response maintains a clear opinion and organises several relevant reasons, particularly children's learning capacity and freedom from adult responsibilities. However, development relies on broad assertions rather than specific, convincing examples, and frequent grammatical and collocational errors reduce precision. The highest priority is to develop each reason with one concrete illustration while editing sentence boundaries, agreement, and word forms more carefully.
