Sample Response
Extra educational coaching for students is common in most placesmost of the place. While people have a different opinion, whether this assistance must for healthy normal kids or those who are physically or mentally disabled. I fully believesupport that the additional training would be highly beneficial for children with disabilitiesunderprivileged children because they require multi-disciplinary approaches and take longertake a longer time to become skilful in a particular area.
The first and foremost reason why I think the specially-abled students are tuition is that they need a collaboration of different disciplinary to train them. In other words, these kids often have more than one disability, and the formal educationeducational systemsometimes fails, sometimes, fail to provide a concrete foundation for building their skillsto build their skills, so providing additional helpdue to this, by providing additional help, can improve outcomes forsurely makes improvement in these children. For example, a school-going child with visual impairment and poor hand movements, in this case, if the child has been taught how to write with special software, that may not be sufficient to excel as his hand cannot move freely. Therefore, he has to be provided with tuitionprovided tuitions to learn how to perform better by receiving assistanceincorporating the assistance of physiotherapists, thus it is clear that these students are enrolled for tuition.
Another point here is that these children require extra time to learn one skill. This is because both mental and physical disabilitiesbecause of their disabilities, both mental and physical disabilities, limit the speed of learning. For example, a mentally challenged child would take quite a long timetake a quite long time to understand, even, basic mathematics, such as numberssuch numbers, calculations and so on. In this situation, giving, in this scenario while giving extra supportsupporting classes really helps them to achieve the educational goals. Hence, it is evident that tuition is more importanttuitions are more significant for these disabled students than normal kids.
In conclusion, it is common to see that normal children are given additional coachingcoachings to score good grades in class. In my opinion, this aid is needed more bymuch needed for differently-abled kids than anybody else.
Why this response received Band 6.0
The response's clearest strength is its consistent position and the use of two relevant reasons, each supported with a specific example. Its main limitation is frequent imprecise wording and unstable sentence construction, which sometimes blur otherwise sensible ideas. The highest priority is to rewrite long sentences into clearly controlled clauses while using accurate educational collocations, so the argument can be followed without effort.
IELTS Writing Criteria Scores
Task Response
The response maintains a clear position and develops two relevant reasons with specific supporting examples.
Explain each example's link to the comparative claim more precisely and avoid unsupported generalisations about disability.
Coherence and Cohesion
The four-paragraph structure supports broad progression, although several long sentences contain strained or inaccurate linking.
Use shorter sentences and make each cause, example, and conclusion relationship explicit without relying on mechanical connectors.
Lexical Resource
There is sufficient range to discuss education and disability, but frequent collocation and word-form errors reduce precision.
Replace inaccurate phrases such as plural uses of tuition and coaching with natural, context-specific educational vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy
A mix of simple and complex structures is attempted, but recurring agreement, clause, and sentence-boundary errors sometimes impede clarity.
Prioritise complete clause structures, subject-verb agreement, and controlled punctuation before attempting longer complex sentences.
