    Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our time, and there is a growing consensus among scientists and policymakers that urgent action is needed to prevent its worst effects. In light of this, the idea that we should simply learn to live with climate change is misguided and dangerous.

    Perhaps the greatest threat to the world is not regional conflicts, terrorism, or political instability, but climate change and environmental degradation. If we do not address this greatest danger properly and timely, we will be responsible for our own extinction, and I do not believe that we should find ways to live with it by doing nothing about it.
