Overall, we can see that the renovation will largely expand the northern part of the original airport to a Y-shaped area with more gates. Meanwhile, the layout of the main body will undergo several small changes, with the building structure remaining largely unchanged.
Commencing with the current layout of the airportaitport, in the south is the main hall divided into two parts: the western part for departures contains a check-in countercontains check-in service counter onin the west side and a cafe onin the east side, with the security passport control area lying behind; the eastern part is for arrivals, where no special facilities lie in front of the passport control customs. A corridor is connected to the northern side of the hall, featuring eight gates and a walkway inside.
According to the planned future layout, a bigger Y-shaped corridor housing 18 gates will replace the original northern part of the airport, and the walkway will be demolished to give way to a sky train that connects the hall and the two branches. Inside the hall, shops will be introduced in the departure part, to the north of the security passport control. The cafe and check-in counter will move to their opposite side, and a bag-drop area will be added. The southeastern side of the hall will expand eastwards, providing space for car hiring, and a cafe and an ATMATM machine will be put in the eastern hall. Finally, a gate will be appended respectively for the departure side and the arrival side.
