The charts illustrate the proportions of energy produced by hydro, geothermal, wind, gas, nuclearHydro, Geothermal, Wind, Gas, Nuclear and others frombetween 1970 to 1990. Overall, it is apparent that the amount of power generated increased over the years except for Hydropower in 1990.
In a more detailed analysis, in 1970, Hydropower accounted for 45% of the total energy yielded, which was just over double the proportion generated from geothermalwhich almost doubled the energy obtained from geothermal. Power from wind, gas and other sourcesPower from wind, Gas and other forms of careline accounted for relatively small sharesis insignificant, whereas nuclear energy was not generated at all.
Turning to the power generated in 1980, about three-quarters of it was from hydro, at 76%hydro which is 76%, while the other sourcesguidelines accounted for the remaining quarterremaining one quarter. Geothermal, wind and nuclear powerwind and Nuclear Power differed from one another by one percentage pointwere one per cent greater than one another, that is, 8%, 7% and 6%, respectively. Furthermore, Gas and other sourcesGas and other forms of gasoline produced less than 2% of power eachless than 2% power.
Finally, in 1990, relatively similar proportions of hydro and geothermal energy were generateda relatively similar rate of hydro and geothermal energy was yielded, 34% and 39%, respectively. Why this response received Band 6.5
The response is strongest in its detailed coverage: it reports most percentages accurately and compares the sources clearly within each year. However, the overview wrongly describes growth in the amount of power rather than changes in percentage shares, and it misses the decisive shift from hydro to geothermal leadership. Rewrite the overview around the dominant sources and the major redistribution of shares, then retain the accurate numerical support.
