    The line graph compares the proportions of the city population across four Asian countries (Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia) in the years 1970 to 2020, together with predicted percentages for 2030 and 2040. It is noticeable that all four countries experienced an overall growth in population in the period, despite fuctuations for Philippines.
