As the average lifespan is growing longer across the globe, some people are seeking rearrangement of lives and consider working at an old age as a good choice. From my perspective, such idea, if put into practice, is harmful to both themselves and the whole society, despite few benefits it may bring.

The idea that people should keep working when they get old has become a matter of debate. I disagree with the idea that continuing to work at an old age is beneficial because it not only affects old people’s health and living quality, but also reduces the job opportunities for the younger ones.
