It is the 21st century. This is a modern epoch and in this epoch, there are many challenges being faced by humanityby the human. This is particularity true in the case of an increase in the waste material such as plastic, cans and paper create a hindrance in the whole world. Nowadays, many people are aware of recycling which help to curb this problem by reused the material. I will discuss whydiscuss, why this is happening, what we can do to resolve this issue and finally how people can be encouraged to recycleencouraged for recycling before drawing a logical conclusion. To begin with, fromin my perspective, the first and foremost point about increasing recyclingcreeping the recycling is turning trash into cashis trash into cash. It means that waste products are sold for moneysold by people for some cash, which helps promote recyclinghelps to lead the recycling. For instance, in Japan, many people sell the waste productsproduct such as empty cans or discardeduseless plastic to workers, who collect the waste material for recycling. Moreover, some people are aware of recycling, which helps to curb or tackle the problem caused by non-biodegradable productsproblem, which is created by a non-biodegradable product such as plastic. Secondly, there are various ways to encourage people to recycleencourage the people about recycling through awareness campaignssuch as awareness, which is an effectiveincredible way to encourage people. The government should raise awarenessspread the awareness about recycling through advertisingto people by advertising. They should show advertisementsshow the advertisement on television and in magazines and newspaperstelevision, magazine and newspaper because the majority of people can easily learn about the issuenotice the issue by such media. As evidence, in Canada, the advertisement about recycling is shown on television or newspaper by the government once a yearonce in a year, which helps to increase awareness among people. To sum up, after looking at above paragraphs, it is believed that the government should alert the people by advertising.

Overall assessment

Why this response received Band 5.5

The response addresses both questions and gives relevant examples of financial incentives and public advertising, with the Japanese recycling-for-cash example providing the strongest support. Its main limitations are narrow development, heavy repetition, a single-block structure, and frequent language errors. Prioritise explaining multiple causes of increased recycling and propose distinct measures such as convenient collection, deposit schemes, and education, each in a focused paragraph.
