It is often argued that high-rise apartment buildings are the most effective solution to the shortage of housing in major cities.
Many large cities are facing a serious housing shortage, and tall apartment blocks are often presented as the main answer. Although high-rise buildings can provide homes for many people, I only partly agree that they are the best solution.
As populations in major cities rise, finding sufficient housing has become increasingly difficult. Although high-rise apartment buildings are an important part of the solution, I disagree that they are the best answer on their own.
