From my perspective, I disagree with this opinion, because an unrestricted free water supply will give rise to water shortages and environmental pollution. If people can access clean water free of chargegain access to clean water without any cost, they will gradually take it for granted, leading to excessive water consumption. The overuse, in turn, may deplete clean water reserves and cause water shortages. Moreover, this would also place an excessive burden on sewage treatment systems, which may result in system breakdowns and give rise to environmental pollution. Given the uneven distribution of water resources, the government must manage and allocate water resources carefully.
