The debate on the use of nuclear power has persisted for many years. Although it has numerous advantagesadvantages attached to it, we simply cannot write off its disadvantages. I strongly agree that the benefits it carries are huge than its drawbacks which will be discussed in this essay.

These powerful weapons can wipe outoff an entire city in minutes if they fall into the wrong handsif they are destructive hands. Moreover, these power plants may collapse when exposed toif prone to natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamisTsunamis. It eventually not only leads to the death of thousands of people by their radio hazards, but it might also leave negative impacts on future generations.
Nevertheless, the benefits of nuclear technologymerits that nuclear weapons bring are crucial to the world. The fact is that the world cannot be entirely dependent on intermittent power sources like wind and solar. Having said that. The primary advantages that nuclear technology possesses include zero carbon emissionsemission, reliability and health benefitsreliability and healthier. It is the cheapest source of energy and meets clean-energy needswhich serves clean power needs. A single nuclear power plant can provide the energy required to run a whole city.
Nuclear power is more reliableIt is more reliable as it provides constant baseload power. It is worth mentioning here that it is muchway healthier thanwhen we compare it with its alternatives, coal and natural gas.
Therefore, I would like to conclude that despite some demerits of nuclear weapons and power, their advantages are numerousenumerable. They should, however, be used with appropriate safety precautionswith safety and precautions.
