Sample Response
Job satisfaction is believed to be an important aspect of one’s self-satisfaction and a happy life. To be satisfied with a job, many expectations need to be fulfilled and it is a matter of debate whether job satisfaction exists or notwhether a job satisfaction exists or not. This raises the question of how job satisfaction should be definedSo how do we define job satisfaction and which elements are essential for an agreeable job? Firstly, an individual should choose a job that matches his skill set and where they can find personal satisfactionwhere he could find mental satisfaction. A job that provides a sense of fulfilment, a secure working environmentsecure working environment and pays well is desirablepays well is a desired job for many. Traditionally, a job that has higha social status, better pay scale and gives freedom to an employee is said to be a dream job. Unfortunately, not all of us have such dream jobs. Some other important factors like adequate holidays, compensationcompensations, learning opportunitiesopportunity, career growth, a decent boss, nice colleagues, job security and fair working environment are often considered the most important aspects of a job. I believe a nice job should guarantee progress - both skills and remuneration. For example, training courses that help an employee gain new skillshelp employee gain new skills would help improve his career and therefore benefit thehis workplace and his community as well. Since job satisfaction and employees' expectations change with timeexpectation of employee change with time, it is almost unrealistic to define a job which is perfect and completely satisfactory for all. While some people are unsatisfied with their jobs because of poor payment, others complain about future prospectsthe future prospect. Even when these conditions are metEven if these criteria are met in a job, some people would start complaining about other aspects. That is why it is quite unrealistic that every employeeeach and every employee would be happy in their workplace. In conclusion, some common factors like salary, respect, learning opportunity, work environment and job security could be influential aspects for job satisfaction but it is quite impossible for all employees to be happy in their workingjob environment.
Why this response received Band 7.0
The response clearly addresses both parts of the task, offering a broad range of relevant factors and a convincing explanation of why satisfaction cannot be universal. Its ideas remain mostly general, however, and the single-paragraph structure weakens their impact. Prioritise developing two or three key factors with specific support and organising them into focused paragraphs that connect directly to the realism question.

Task Response
The response addresses both questions, listing several contributors to job satisfaction and explaining why universal satisfaction is unrealistic. Development is clear but mostly general, with limited concrete support beyond one training example.
Develop two or three factors in more depth and connect them explicitly to the second question about whether all workers can realistically be satisfied.
Coherence and Cohesion
The essay has a logical progression from definition and factors to realism, but it is written as one long paragraph and some rhetorical questions reduce academic control.
Use separate paragraphs for introduction, factors, realism, and conclusion, with clearer topic sentences.
Lexical Resource
Vocabulary is flexible enough for the topic, including fulfilment, remuneration, career growth, and job security. Some collocations and word forms are awkward or repetitive.
Revise collocations such as secure working environment, compensations, and expectation of employee into more natural noun phrases.
