The graphs below show the numbers of male and female workers in 1975 and 1995 in several employment sectors of the Republic of Freedonia.

It is noticeable that the number of male employees 4waswere always 5higher than that of female workershigher than female workers in the six categories. Furthermore, in terms of 6publicpubilc sector, both genders recorded the highest numbers 7in the non-defence categoryin non-defence, but showed the smallest numbers in defence.

Public sector (non-defence) saw 8thea largest numbers of men and women, 9at 850,000 and 650,000at 850 and 650, respectively. However, as for public sector (defence), 10both males and femalesboth male and female recorded the lowest numbers, 11at approximately 220,000 and 30,000at approximately 210 and 10 respectively.

13Wholesale & retail trade showed a small margin between the numbers of men and women, and women illustrated 550, which was 150 less than men (700). 14A similar disparity of around 300 appeared in manufacturing and finance/banking. 15In manufacturing, the figureIn manufacturing the figure for men was 650, while that for women was 300. In finance/banking, the number of men 16stood at roughly 410,000stand at roughly 410, which was 250 higher than that of women (160). By contrast, when it comes to communications, there was a marginal difference between 17the two gendersthe the two genders, with men registering at 300 and 18the figure for women standing at nearly 260,000women indicating nearly 260.
