Overall assessment

Why this response received Band 4.5

The response establishes an understandable, nuanced position that both hard work and luck contribute to success, and it uses some relevant topic vocabulary. However, it is only an introductory fragment, with no developed reasons, examples, body paragraphs, or conclusion; the highest-priority improvement is to turn this position into a complete essay that explains each factor in a separate paragraph and supports the comparison with specific examples.
